VetMed uses a proprietary electrolytic cell to ensure a pH neutral super oxidant is produced. It has a similar profile to saline, it is non-irritating to skin, eyes, ears and mouth, it leaves no chemical residue, alcohol free, and is free from all harmful agents and impurities.

HOCl was practically and efficiently used for irrigating wounds on soldiers during the First World War in 1914. Unlike other antiseptics and disinfectants, pathogens cannot build resistance or tolerance therefore removing any chance of future resistance or super bugs from occurring.
